Golf / Titleist Performance Institute
Clifford Milowicki, MSPT is the owner and managing partner of the McMurray office and is certified through the Titleist Performance Institute ( TPI ) in Oceanside CA as a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor ( CGFI ). The concept behind this program is that it allows a golfer who is motivated to improve and be competitive, to be professionally screened by the CGFI for golf specific physical deficiencies. The screen was designed by Dave Phillips, a leading teaching professional at the international level, and Dr. Greg Rose, both were commissioned by Titleist to be the founders of the Titleist Performance Institute. They developed the screen (and they continue to revise and update), and were able to create a data base of average findings for the touring pros they evaluated. This allowed them to draw comparisons for the novice player to see how they stack up to the touring pro. They next identified a progression of corrective exercises and maneuvers to most efficiently intervene in fixing these deficiencies. This custom approach is what makes this program efficient and powerful for the golfer.
Our understanding of the importance of fitness and conditioning related to performing on the golf course has come to the forefront with the advent of Tiger Woods and his success. This unique program is efficient and the best choice for the competitive golfer as it focuses on that player’s weaknesses / deficiencies and tailors the program to fix these problems. The credibility of the Titleist name behind this program is what makes it highly marketable to the knowledgeable golf community. Cliff has been focusing his efforts primarily at the individual level, but has had some recent success in formulating group programs, most notably for the Peters Township golf team, last years WPIAL champions. We believe whole heartedly that this program is far and away the most effective and efficient way for the competitive golfer to incorporate exercise and training into their quest to maximize performance.
